3 Year Old Program

Lake Park's 3 year old program is thoughtfully planned to offer child-led and interest-based learning that encourages children to explore their environment and learn through hands-on experience.

Through this model we aim to cultivate creativity, imagination, and teamwork. We also promote children's communication and language development, and provide opportunities to share stories, reflect through play and express ideas.

We use the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework as a set of guidelines to plan and implement activities for children based on their individual interests, abilities and knowledge to achieve growth in the following outcomes: Identity, Community, Wellbeing, Learning and Communication.

Our ultimate aim is to instil a sense of worth and assurance in every child as they develop their sense of responsibility, independence and confidence, preparing them for a smooth transition to longer kinder session the following year.

Enrolment
You can enrol your child into Lake Park Kindergarten's
3 year old program any time during the year. Your child is able to attend once they have turned 3 years old. If you are interested in enrolling for 2021, please click here to complete the Application Form online. For any other enquiries, please use the form below and we will contact you shortly.

For 2021 4yo enrolments please contact Moreland Council www.moreland.vic.gov.au

For 2022 3yo enrolments please visit www.moreland.vic.gov.au to register your application.  There will be a non-refundable application fee per child of $24 (concession card, ATSI and multiple birth children may not have to pay - see the website for further information). This is a Council administration fee and does not contribute towards your kindergarten fees.  If you apply between 1st March and 31st May 2021 (you will be allocated points), Moreland City Council will be in touch to offer you a place by the end of August 2021 and you will have 7 days to respond and accept or decline the place.  For applications received from June 2021 (you will not be allocated points), Moreland City Council will be in touch to offer you a place from September 2021 onwards and you will have 7 days to respond and accept or decline the place.  Moreland City Council will then contact MORELAND EARLY YEARS MANAGEMENT, and provide details of children who have accepted a place at one of our Moreland Early Years Management kindergarten's around September/October 2021.  MORELAND EARLY YEARS MANAGEMENT will then be in touch with you before December to begin the formal ENROLMENT process.
